This is THE best banana bread I've ever made. Credit goes to Suzie, who shared the recipe with me. It's amazing! Like it! Love it! Gotta have it!
Marbled-Chocolate Banana Bread
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
6 ripe bananas, smashed
4 eggs
2/3 c. oil (or plain yogurt)
1 c. dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients, except chips. Melt chocolate chips in separate bowl. Mix melted chips with 1/3 of batter. Layer alternated batter with chocolate batter into 3 loaf pans. Swirl batters together using knife. Bake 30-40 minutes.
Makes 3 loaves
Option: Make 1/2 batch and put in 1 large bread pan for 55 minutes.
